| Meh, this movie could have been way better. It of course had it’s “jumpy” moments, but for the most part this movie felt superbly unsatisfying. The ending is terrible as it seems to stop in the middle of a story, and the beginning did not embellish a hole lot of details. For the most part, I left that movie with more questions then answers.
All in all, if you have time to kill and wanna watch a *scary movie* with a group of friends, I guess this movie is great for you as you do not need to really understand the plot, as there really isn’t any. I give it 3 stars for effort. |

Hello,
I originally wanted to watch The Forest when I heard that it was being released into theaters as I am a fan of Natalie Dormer and thrillers. However, I never did end up making my way to see the movie as there was never really that much of a buzz from the movie that I heard of. I suppose my friends that did see it were also disappointed as you were and I am saving this one for a rainy day to try to see if it shall redeem any of it’s qualities that were missing in theaters on a spooky October or November day.
