My Thoughts:
Based on a true story movies always mean a little more to me then average everyday movies. There is just something special about them.

This movie, though not the best, was certainly entertaining. It had its light-hearted, “crack-a-smile”, moments that makes Tina Fey so famous, which was needed, because let’s face it, this story is pretty dark.

Basically, a single reporter in her late-forties in a dead end job gets the opportunity of a lifetime, to move over-seas and cover the ever-growing war in Afghanistan. This movie shows all the different paths and journey this reporter is forced to take, and shows her take on the war and how it effects not only her present, but her future.

This movie is surely worth a watch if war-time movies, based on true evnets is your style. Lots of history here, lots.
